Dear Friends: This full weekend at BFC includes: 1) Our first Friday Night at the Movies of 2015! Presenting: “Umberto D” 1952, Directed by Vittorio De Sica, Not Rated, 85 min. This neorealist masterpiece follows an elderly pensioner as he strives to make ends meet during Italy’s postwar economic recovery. Alone except for his dog, Umberto struggles to maintain his dignity in a city where human kindness seems to have been swallowed up by the forces of modernization. See the flyer for more information.
