The God of love opens our eyes to see the suffering of all our sisters and brothers. The God of justice opens our ears to hear those who cry out. The God of healing opens our hearts to acknowledge and share our own pain and the pain of others. In the power of the Spirit, we know the truth, and the truth will set us free from all bondage and blindness.
Bible Study starts 7:30 PM on Tuesdays via Zoom. Bible Study is currently reading Jesus, Christ and Servant of God: Meditations on the Gospel According to John by David Johnson. You do not need to have read or have a copy of the book available as we read a section and then discuss.
Happy Hour – Friday July 10 from 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM. Join us on the BFC Zoom for a time of hanging out, checking in and enjoying human interaction.
Special All Ages and Stages Worship on Saturday, June 27 at 4:00 PM. This intergenerational time of learning and worship will be interactive and energetic – using our whole bodies, minds and souls. While great for families with kids, all are welcome to come and join in.
Census 2020: Don’t forget to respond to your notice either online, by phone or by paper form after April 8th. The census will only ask 9 questions and by law cannot be shared with anyone including ICE, the police, or other government agencies. An undercount will have a huge effect on our area. For example, if we have an undercount of 6% in Alameda County, the county will lose $1 billion over 10 years. For more information see the Census website.
